Pikes Peak Park is located next to Pumpkin Rock Trail, which is perfect if your kids still have some energy left after completing that hike.
A very short summary of our visit to Pikes Peak Park
The playground offers a house and a red barn that have multi-levels with slides. These playsets are amazing, it makes me wish I was a kid again! There is even a vehicle play-set along with climbing rocks scattered throughout the area. Regular and baby swings are available along with restrooms, basketball half court, a paved path around the park, grassy area, and picnic tables.
Our Thoughts
This park is beautiful and worth checking out if you are in the area. I wish I had more photos to share with you, but I will share the yelp page that has numerous photos for you to see. My kids loved the playground and the play equipment to climb on. (they love to climb) I liked that there was a parking lot nearby along with clean restrooms, especially if you are just coming back from hiking the Pumpkin Rock Trail.
